New partner Patent Chemicals

Following on from an impressive karting season in 2016, Logan will be targeting further success on and off the track for 2017 where she will continue racing karts in Rotax Senior Max and testing race cars in Ginetta Juniors, so securing valuable sponsorship deals are essential for her to continue developing and climbing up the motorsports ladder.

Andrew Holmes, Director of Patent Chemicals…"Patent Chemicals is proud to support Logan in the development of her racing career. As a relatively young company, Patent Chemicals sees many parallels between Logan's efforts to break into the world of motor racing and our own entry into the oil and gas production chemicals industry. We are truly impressed with Logan's dedication to the sport of motor racing and her commitment to achieve excellence. We very much look forward to being a part of her team for the 2017 season."

Logan added….“When I first heard that Patent Chemicals were interested in supporting my driving career, I was really proud especially as they are a company based in the UAE where I started racing karts back in 2014, so it is extra special for me to continue representing the UAE now that I am doing most of my racing in the UK. I look forward to working with Andrew and the team at Patent Chemicals during my 2017 race season and will work hard to repay them for the commitment they have shown to me. I am also really excited about returning to race karts again in the UAE this April for the final round of the RMC Championships at Al Ain Raceway, I can’t wait!”

TaxAssist Accountants to support Logan’s future driving ambitions!

TaxAssist Accountants to support Logan’s future driving ambitions!

“TaxAssist Accountants in Corstorphine do all the things you’d expect an accountant to do: preparing accounts for limited companies, sole traders and partnerships, payroll, bookkeeping, VAT and self assessments for individuals… but so do most other accountants.

So why is Renee and her team so successful?

It’s because they believe the technical things they do are a given – an accurate set of accounts is the least a customer can expect – and so they concentrate on delivering customer service that they believe is second to none. They really get to know their customers, understand their businesses and then work really hard to help people achieve what they want…

Working with individuals and businesses with turnover up to £2M TaxAssist Accountants provide specialist help and support beyond what most people think of as ‘he norm’ for an accountancy practice.

TaxAssist Accountants has enjoyed a long term relationship with Hannah family and are really proud to be working with Logan to help her achieve her hopes and dreams.”

Logan added….
“I am so thrilled at having the opportunity to represent TaxAssist Accountants both on and off the race track. It is really exciting to have such an enthusiastic partner to work with at this stage of my driving career and I would like to thank Renee and Richard for providing me with such amazing support and encouragement as I keep pushing to reach my ultimate goal of competing at the highest level in motorsports.”

Logan and her proud father Graeme pictured after featuring on a recent radio programme with motorsports
radio presenter and revered Clerk of the Course Fraser Martin.

Unfortunately, as with any young up and coming race driver, racing along the winding track to professional motorsport, talent, dedication and skill development alone often becomes secondary and subservient to the quest for funding and Logan is no different in this respect.

Consequently, Graeme Hannah has now forsaken his Radical and his own racing aspirations to be able to concentrate fully on his daughter’s long term ambitions and current kart racing programme.

Nevertheless, sponsorship will invariably be essential to sustain Logan’s racing development and climb up the career ladder.

Reacting positively to the inevitable question of “What do you think Logan can offer a sponsor?... that others can’t!

Graeme Hannah explained that “Apart from the obvious answer of being a girl racer in a sport dominated mostly by males, Logan and I both fully realise through my own motorsport involvement that sponsorship, even in karting, is so much more than just merely cashing a cheque and putting a few sponsor stickers on the kart!”

“We have a clear understanding that sponsorship at any level, is a two way street, and that we must provide the sponsor with tangible benefits in return for their financial investment and faith in Logan”

“Fortunately, my motorsport network has also given me access to a few individuals, who can work behind the scenes with Logan and me to put together a professional and interesting sponsorship package that the right company or brand would relish being associated with. I believe that aside from Logan’s results on track, this commercial awareness and professional expertise should prove attractive to a sponsor looking for the right match.”

Poise and confidence in public and media situations must run in the family, with Logan’s younger sister Nairne already a star of stage and screen, Logan has also shown that media events and public speaking are well within her comfort zone with an accomplished appearance on the weekly motorsports programme on the Dubai Eye 103 radio station.
